to emphasize, etc. )
~ Your presentation should last about 4 minutes.
Topic for your presentation:
Make a presentation on why American English spelling is simpler than British in some ways.
In Unit 3 you were exposed to the comparison between American English and British
English. You know about a person called Noah Webster. In your talk, first give the reasons
why American English spelling is simpler than British English. Then give examples to show
the superficial differences between the two varieties in pronunciation, spelling and
vocabulary.
